I have said that if a program was put in place to compel, yes, compel, employers to add to their workforce - to re-evaluate the overload most staffs I'm aware of are operating under as "business as usual" - we would avoid a recession.
The reason the debt limit was needed is because the economy sucks. I wish those Congressional grandstanders would spend as much time on that as they did dicking around about the phone debt issue.
